Fintos is committed to sustainability
Advancing the well-being of people, the environment and society is part of Fintos’ core values and way of doing business. We continuously improve our own operations and cooperation with our stakeholders to reduce and prevent our adverse impacts on climate, nature, human well-being and society.
Sustainability has been a strategic focus of ours since 2022, and we are working systematically to implement it. In 2023, we launched a sustainability program covering all ESG areas, which we will implement in phases.
Sustainable development goals
In line with the UN 2030 Agenda, we have set Fintos’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as decent work and sustainable economic growth, sustainable industry, innovation and infrastructure.
The goals were endorsed by our Board of Directors at its meeting in August 2024. The next step is to describe in more detail what the goals mean specifically for Fintos’ operations.
Decent work and economic growth
We promote sustainable economic growth for all, full and productive employment and decent jobs.
Sustainable industry, innovation and infrastructure
We promote sustainable industry and innovation and build sustainable infrastructure.
Recommended by our staff
In the autumn 2025 employee survey, we got an ENPS score of 75 for employee experience, which is an excellent result. Of the employees who responded to the survey, 87.5 % recommended Fintos as an employer.
The overall average score for the survey was 4.3/5.0. This figure was calculated from 38 statements defined by Varma and is considered an excellent level (4.3-5.0). The highest score (4.9) was given to the statement “My workplace management is interested in the work ability and well-being of its personnel.”
Prestigious Workplace
At the beginning of 2025, Fintos was awarded the Prestigious Workplace Certificate (Arvostettu työpaikka) in recognition of the excellent ratings it received from its staff in a survey measuring employee experience. Based on the ratings in the employee survey conducted by Arvostettu Oy, Fintos’ ranking was 90%, placing it in the top 10% of the organizations that responded to the survey. Only a small number of companies and organizations receive the certificate each year.
– We received an excellent rating of at least 4.1 in all categories except for orientation, which received a rating of 4.0. It is particularly gratifying that our employees would recommend Fintos as a place to work to their friends and acquaintances with a rating of 4.8/5.0. The results are encouraging, but they also provide direction for improving the employee experience, CEO Tuuli Prinkkilä says.
Measuring employee satisfaction is part of our social responsibility and one of the development goals for 2025, which were set in the sustainability materiality analysis conducted in 2024.
