Arnon, a specialist in industrial automation and electrification, and Fintos, a specialist in hydraulics and liquid cooling have spent years building a partnership that delivers unique solutions for world-class customers and high added value throughout the supply chain.
The collaboration between Fintos and Arnon started in 2016 with the development of process components for a customer. Over the years, the first prototype built together has been refined into a product and created many new projects and solutions.
The collaboration includes both large development projects, where finding the right partners is crucial, and project deliveries that require agility and cleverness, where the focus is on process quality and consistency of performance.
“Performance must be of high quality, but the excellence of a product or service is always based first and foremost on a deep understanding of customer needs and requirements.”
Jouni Mäki, Product Management Director, Arnon
Partnerships and the customer at the core
Strong partnerships are a strategic competitive advantage for Arnon and Fintos. Arnon partners with companies that strengthen our joint ability to innovate and create value. The value proposition benefits the entire supply chain.
Customer focus is another factor that unites Arnon and Fintos. Neither organisation is rigidly product-oriented, but rather addresses challenges from the customer’s perspective first.

A long history and commitment have made the partnership work. Through an ongoing tripartite dialogue, Arnon, Fintos and the customer are able to compress their feelings and vision into a common deep understanding that guides not only strategic renewal but also proactive operational development. Collaboration is essential as customer needs and the business environment continue to change at an ever faster pace.
– It is not enough to be handy with your hands. Performance must be of high quality, but the excellence of a product or service is always based first and foremost on a deep understanding of customer needs and requirements,” says Jouni Mäki, Arnon’s Product Management Director.
A clear division of labour improves efficiency
Arnon and Fintos work together to provide customers with control and electrification solutions for renewable energy and environmental technology systems. The division of labour is clear: Arnon takes care of automation and the customer interface, while Fintos is responsible for the assembly and manufacturability of process components.
“Kaikkea ei tarvitse opetella itse, kun on kumppani, joka on mukavuusalueellaan meille itsellemme vieraissa asioissa.”
Jouni Mäki
The partnership highlights the expertise of Fintos, and in particular of its Chief Technical Officer Ville Halmesmäki’s liquid cooling expertise.
– It is important for us to benefit from Fintos’ strong expertise and experience from the sales phase onwards, starting with the conceptualisation of customer solutions. You don’t have to learn everything yourself when you have a partner who is in its comfort zone in areas that are unfamiliar to us, says Mäki.
On the Arnon side, Teppo Pulakka, who has long been in charge of customer relations, and Tuuli Prinkkilä, Fintos’ contact person, constantly monitor projects, hold a weekly meetings and are in contact several times a week. Pulakka also participates in the client’s weekly meetings. An open and timely discussion allows for the right prioritisation of projects and the brainstorming of new ideas.
Our goal is the customer’s success
At an operational level, Arnon and Fintos share similar values that make it easy to work together.
– Both have a strong commitment to the way we operate, and our common goal is customer satisfaction,” says Prinkkilä.
Based on customer feedback, the added value that Arnon and Fintos bring is speed of response and flexibility.
– We address potential customer problems quickly, usually the next day. As a result, even the customer’s own processes become more efficient, says Pulakka.
Despite availability challenges, Arnon and Fintos have avoided major delays in joint customer deliveries and currently have a good component situation. Buffer stocks of components are kept and known delivery delays are always discussed with the customer in advance.
The partnership between Arnon and Fintos remains strong, with plans to build on this in the future, drawing on tripartite understanding and development. Solutions are and will continue to be sought always with the customer’s perspective first.
